The latest project car from well know Ford tuner Jon Lund is a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 with a twin turbo setup. The Mustang GT is capable of running 9′s courtesy of the twin turbo setup built by Jake Long and Ken Bjonnes. The car retains the stock appearance and engine internals with minor additions to the vehicle including lowering springs, off-road x-pipe and a set of 15″ drag radials. The first run down the strip earned them a 10.72@131.8 on 8 psi. Hopes for low 9 second numbers are already being talked about but the psi will have to be turned up.
Check out some videos below of drag strip testing.
