Plethore LC-750 is Canada’s first Supercar

Ford ‘Blue Angels’ Mustang pays tribute to 100 Years of U.S. Navy Aviation

For the fourth year in a row Ford Motor Company has built a one-of-a-kind Mustang for the Gathering of Eagles charity which will be auctioned off at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) event in Oshkosh, WI on July 28th.  The one-off Blue Angels Mustang pays tribute to 100 years of U.S. Navy aviation which will be celebrated all week at the EAA Airventure event.

“The precision, discipline and excitement that define the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels flight team are qualities we celebrate at Ford,” said Edsel B. Ford II, a member of Ford’s board of directors. “With this year’s beautiful ‘Blue Angels’ edition Mustang GT, we’ve captured those qualities and paired them with the innovation Ford design and engineering team members build into all of our vehicles. New ZR1 engine finds home in a 1971 Corvette dubbed “Golden Rod”

A 1971 Corvette dubbed “Golden Rod” is the recipient of a new supercharged LS9 engine from a ZR1.  The project comes to us from a Houston, Texas tuning shop known as Fastlane.  The LS9 crate motor looks like it was made for this ’71 Corvette.  The engine swap is not the only transplant for this ’71 Vette, the suspension, brakes and other key components will be upgraded as well.  Enjoy a few photos below. …Read More

Its finally becoming reality as ProjectCars.com is off the ground.  For now the site will feature a blog with various articles relating to Project Cars, Restoration and aftermarket parts.  Should be fun as we move forward.  In the coming months expect a social network type site where users can share every aspect of their project car build.
